By the use of the desiccant characteristics of solution, the water-cooled liquid desiccant fresh air unit handles fresh air and the heat generated during dehumidifying process is taken away by cold water. Using solution as working media, this unit’s solution absorbs the energy of fresh air and its temperature rises; by panel heat exchanger the heat is transferred to cold water to reach the purpose of cooling down the working media. The dense solution required for dehumidifying can be centrally provided by solution regenerator.
water-cooled liquid desiccant fresh air unit is a new product developed in response to the demands of environmental protection and energy conservation. It can be combined with solution regenerator to make full use of low-grade heat source, taking the place of regular refrigeration system to realize a unity of economy and environmental protection. This unit is applicable to places with limited electricity power and abundant low-grade heat sources and is particularly useful for places with cooling water source but no return air. |
